Biography
Rathanak Rethda is a Cambodian legal professional and academic leader currently serving as the Deputy Director of the International Bachelor of Laws Program at the National University of Management (NUM). With a strong background in legal education and program management, he plays a key role in shaping future legal professionals through innovative and internationally oriented learning initiatives.
He has extensive experience in international and humanitarian legal environments. Prior to his current role, he worked as a Programme Manager at the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC), where he contributed to efforts in international criminal justice. He also served as a Movement Cooperation Manager at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), gaining valuable experience in humanitarian law and global cooperation.
Rathanak holds two bachelor’s degrees in law from the Royal University of Law and Economics. His professional strengths include leadership, strategic program development, teamwork, and effective communication. Known for his ability to work under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities, he is committed to advancing legal education and promoting practical, future-ready skills among students.
